HM is seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist

for in-home Early Intervention in the following areas:

Imperial County, CA


MUST be able to start within 2-3 weeks.

MUST have pediatric experience.

MUST be able to take 15+ cases per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Facilitate the development and growth of clients with cognitive disabilities and/or language impediments through therapy treatment sessions. Evaluations and treatment sessions are to be performed to determine the current level of the client and their needs and/or to discharge clients from services.


  • Meet the client's goals/needs by providing quality care through treatment sessions, assessments and/or evaluations.
  • Assisting in developing and updating the plan of treatment.
  • Help clients regain functionality of speech or adjust to disabilities through the implementation of treatment that pertains to the client's age and/or capabilities.
  • Observing, recording, and reporting information on the patient's progress to the attending physician and in the patient's health record or in the patient's file.
  • Advising, consulting, and when appropriate, instructing family and/or other personnel in patient's therapy program.
  • Completing discharge planning by consulting with the necessary and appropriate persons such as teachers, physicians, and parents of the client.
  • Maintaining client trust by keeping information confidential
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment through compliance of procedures, rules, and regulations of facility.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintaining professional knowledge by attending educational workshops.
  • Direction of assistants as needed or required.


  • Current PT License for the state of California
  • Valid Driver's License
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Provides physician's health clearance.
